D.C. So Close to Home

We finally made it!!!! We arrived in Philadelphia on April 24th and our apartments are super nice and very spacious(finally! good apartments). The surrounding area is so pretty and green; it sort of reminds me of Indiana.

We had some time before Matt had to start working so we visited Washington DC for a day. We saw most of the monuments and went to the spy museum. We also saw some super slueth security guard pacing the rooftop of the whitehouse. DC is less than two hours away from where we live so we plan on visiting often on sunday afternoons.

My little Walkie Talkie

Walker is growing so fast and getting so big. He is almost 2 months old and he does not fit 0-3 mo. clothes! I think he will weigh as much as Kelty by the time he is 6 months old.

Betty Crocker

It was my nephew Connor's Birthday this last Saturday and I was honored to make the cake. I have never really been interested in cooking (I love to eat out) but I decided that cooking is really fun to do. This summer it is my goal to make dinner for Matt every night of the week so if anyone has some easy recipes, send them my way.
