They finally meet
I took kelty to the mall yesterday to meet Santa. She has been watching Christmas movies and i have been drilling her on who santa is and what he does... so i was interested to see her reaction to the whole thing. It was so adorable to watch her sit in his lap, she was smiling so big. So when he asked her what she wanted for Christmas I thought for sure she would say "toys" or "candy" because that is what she has always said when we ask her what present she wants from santa, but instead she said something that sounded like "dancing slippers"??? Santa looked at me and said "what did she say?" Then i asked her again (in case she didn't understand) and she said the exact same thing. I told santa to just nod and say okay. I could tell that she knew exactly what she wanted but i have no idea what she said. I am going to have to watch all of the christmas movies she has been watching so that i can figure out where she got her answer. It is amazing what kids pick up on:)
Rockin Christmas Party
Matt's Living on a Prayer
Apx had a little karaoke Christmas bash starring the Stevensons and the Williams. Matt pulled a few of his best moves... he even did the splits in his tight designer jeans..ha...ha...ha...too cute. Stacey and I were volunteered to sing in front of tons of apx salesmen (what a nightmare) they paid us 100bucks$$ so it was all worth the humiliation.

This is what I have been doing all weekend... decorating my house. This is a picture of my hearth and my Christmas Tree. I am so excited for Christmas this year becuase kelty will be older and more into it, she already loves to look at all the Christmas lights around town. Notice the little gold trolley on my Christmas tree... Every year since I have met Matt we have visited San Fran Sisco over the holidays. We bought the little ornament the first year we were married. I remember how careful we were about choosing which one to get (we were such dorky newlyweds).
I am thankful for my family.
