Let's just say that we did come back $100 richer than when we arrived:)
Man, was I thirsty for a gaint Coke!
We went to St. George and Vegas with my family for one last trip together before we leave. We got to stay at the Wynn hotel and we saw David Copperfield. Matt, Megan, and my Dad were all part of the show (which made it more fun and more realistic). Kelty's favorite part was the M&M Factory because she got to eat as many M&Ms as she wanted.
We went to the big Easter egg hunt in Mapleton. The hunt lasted about 5 minutes with 30 kiddies and 100 eggs... Kelty found 8 eggs, Chanel got 30 eggs, and Walker, zero eggs.
During the hunt I would put eggs in Walker's basket and he would quickly take them out, open them and dump the candy back on the lawn.
Chanel offered to give Kelty and Walker some easter egg hunting tips for next year.
Walker's consolation prize for dumping all his eggs back on the lawn... a COOKIE:)
Poor kid is destined to have a gender identity complex. I do try to buy him his own "boy" clothes and accessories but kelty's handy downs seem to fit so much better... and secretively I end up loving to see him in pink! He just looks so helpless and vulnerable in girls clothing. I especially love this outfit because he looks so round and squishy in it.
At her tea time they discussed proper princess etiquette. Kelty was actually the only princess eating her cupcake as instructions to "not eat yet" were being given.
At her princess party Kelty made a princess hat and wand, she played a fun cinderella game, she had a tea party and a fashion show. She of course, absolutly loved every minute of it!

Yesterday we bought Kelty her "Big Girl Bed". I have been putting it off as long as possible but I finally decided that I better get her used to it before we move to New Jersey. Well of course last night was the WORST night ever! She did not go to bed until 11:00pm...I had to keep going in there and putting her back in her bed. Then at 4:00am I found her running around her room again. I proceeded to put her back into her bed over and over again until she finally fell back asleep at about 5:30am... what a nightmare this is going to be:(
