New Hobbies

A couple of weekends ago Matt and I took a trip down to Moab to go biking and climbing with some apx friends. We camped in freezing conditions and ate yummy dutch oven meals. Also, We biked the slickrock practice loop and the slickrock trail (I only did half the trail...first timer if ya know what I mean). I have to hand it to Matt though he rode all of slickrock and the Amasaback trail. So I have decided that i do like biking! (thought i never would)!! I have been biking in St. George a couple of times since moab and it is starting to get easier for me. I just might consider buying a real mountian bike and actually clipping in:)

Happy Halloween

Matt and I were Dog and Beth the Bounty Hunters. (really inappropriate, I know...but you just have to see the show it is so funny:)

This year for Halloween we decided to have a party because we needed an excuse to dress up. Sam (scary mobster on the end) won the costume contest, Jake Nielson won the doughnut eating contest and Amanda Lundberg won the balloon popping contest. It was fun to hang out around the bonfire and listen to loud explosions (thanks to Dustin for the pyrotechnics show).

My little round pumpkin

On Sunday walker was so happy after he woke up from his nap, so i took him outside to roll around in the leaves. He was looked so adorable crawling around in his fall jacket (he blended in so well i could hardly see him:) I am loving this warm fall weather.

Hee Haw Farms

We have been to Hee Haw farms a couple of times this fall season and it is really alot of fun. Kelty loves petting the animals and playing in the hay. I think that she is a little farm girl at heart.

Zion's National Park

Angel's Landing
The Narrows

Beautiful scenery
On our way to the Subway

The Birth Canal (worst part of the whole hike)

The coldest water I will ever feel.
Extreme repelling...ha ha.

The actual "SUBWAY"

A couple of weeks ago Matt put together a little APX retreat to Zions National Park. The boys went down and hiked Angel's Landing, The Narrows, and The Subway in just three days. Haley and I joined in on the fun for the Subway hike. The hike did require swimming in sub zero pools and the smallest repels ever but overall the hike wasn't that bad. The next apx adventure will be in Moab next weekend for those of you who missed out on all the fun:)
