Amish country

I have not been taking very good pictures of the kids with my nice camera...the iphone is just so little and convenient. I actually pulled out the big camera for this shot of the kids when we were in Amish Country. My favorite thing i have done all summer is visit Lancaster and hang out with the Amish people, we even got to join them for a pot luck dinner and it was the best food i have ever had!

Happy 4th of July!

 

The 4th this year was fun but very hot! We played at the pool all day and then went down town to the harbor to eat dinner and watch fireworks.

Hershey Park

This week my family was in town! We had a lot of fun...we went to Hershey, PA and visited the Hershey Factory and the amusement park. Luckily it was nice and cool outside so it wasn't crowded and we almost did every kiddie ride in the park. We also saw the blue angels air show in downtown Baltimore, We went blueberry picking, we went to the children's museum, and we went to the beach at the lake down the road. I am so sad they had to leave!!! i will miss kennedy :(

Beautiful Farm

Today we went on a drive out to the country to visit a petting farm...and it was so beautiful!! Seriously i need to see something peaceful and country-like because we live right smack in the city and i am sick of concrete walls!  The kids spent at least an hour feeding the baby goats, and i just sat in the shade and took pictures. I wish the weather was always this nice but the heat and humidity is coming this weekend, ugggh! I love this last picture of walker chasing the goat!

Memorial Day Weekend

We went to DC on memorial day weekend with all the guys and couples in our office. It was soooo packed with people... thousands of motorcyclers were there to celebrate the holiday. We rented bikes and rode around to all the monuments, the white house and we went to the museum of national archives to see the constitution and the declaration of Independence! The kids had fun riding on the front of the baskets.

Tulips

 All my aunts and cousins, and me really fat and pregnant!

 I love this picture of Macy. I told her if she smiled for the pictures she would get some cotton candy... a little motivation goes a long way.

Before we left for Baltimore we got to go to the tulip festival with a bunch of the family from all sides. It was such a nice day and the flowers were soooo perfect and pretty, In past years it's been too cold before we leave for the summer so we haven't been able to see a good tulip festival.

Happiest place on earth

We just got back from Disney World this week and it was so nice and warm! It was really a fun trip but definitely exhausting. We went to the Magic Kingdom the first day and it was sooooo packed with people that we probably went on 4 rides the entire day! Then we went to Hollywood Studios the second day which was also jam packed with people, then we went to Animal Kingdom which was my favorite and probably the kids favorite (we should have just skipped the magic kingdom and spent more time at the animal kingdom), the last day we drove to Coco Beach and the kids had a blast boogie boarding and playing in the sand. Even with long days of walking and walking in circles and waiting in long lines (even the bathrooms were a 20 min wait) the kids had so much fun...Kelty said her favorite parts were roasting marshmallows at the hotel's beach, space mountain, and the parade at the Animal Kingdom...Walker's favorites were the Dinosaur ride and when we bought him a dinosaur at the gift shop.

Scrapbooking

Well after a trip to park city and to St. George, i finally feel like i have a hold of my scrapbooking.... well just as long as i don't take too many pictures this year. these were a few of my favorites:)
