I took kelty to the mall yesterday to meet Santa. She has been watching Christmas movies and i have been drilling her on who santa is and what he does... so i was interested to see her reaction to the whole thing. It was so adorable to watch her sit in his lap, she was smiling so big. So when he asked her what she wanted for Christmas I thought for sure she would say "toys" or "candy" because that is what she has always said when we ask her what present she wants from santa, but instead she said something that sounded like "dancing slippers"??? Santa looked at me and said "what did she say?" Then i asked her again (in case she didn't understand) and she said the exact same thing. I told santa to just nod and say okay. I could tell that she knew exactly what she wanted but i have no idea what she said. I am going to have to watch all of the christmas movies she has been watching so that i can figure out where she got her answer. It is amazing what kids pick up on:)Wednesday, December 10, 2008
They finally meet

That's the best mall Santa I've ever seen. Maybe Kelty wants to be a ballet dancer like her aunt Nicole! (ha ha)

What a good idea to have her watch movies about Santa! I am so going to do that for Chanel next year!! Well, if she really does want dance slippers...I know a good place you can get them. :) So cute!!
Has she watched "The Santa Clause"? During the soccer scene the little girl goes and sits on Santa's lap and says "I want some ballet slippers." FYI I'm a Christmas movie fanatic. Have fun in Cali!
