My Last 5k Ever!

On your mark... Get set...
Go!

Meet the runners: Bo and Tami- Bo is quite the fireball racer and is the youngest to run the 5k Latin Way race. Tami is the mother of two and tackled this race like it was no problem. Mandy- This was Mandy's first race in her entire life and did totally awesome! Courtney- She runs 5k's all the time and wins them from time to time. Jessica (me)- Jessica is going to retire from her race running days but really had a blast running this one!

The Fans
As you can see a bunch of us Apx wives and little Bo decided to run a 5k race (it was actually Bo's idea). It really was alot of fun and everybody did awesome. My only problem was that i don't think my body was ready for the race and it just totally killed me over. I don't ever want to run a race again unless i am 20 lbs lighter and fit as a fiddle (never will happen).
So this guy in the last picture was so funny running with his thick gold chains, goggles, and cute little bald head, we just had to have a picture with him.

Go PHILLIES

On Sunday after waiting for 2 hours while a huge rainstorm passed through, we were able to enjoy our awesome seats and watch the Philles spank the Atlanta Braves. Last year I was a Cubs fan and this year I am a Phillies fan... It is more fun being a Phillies fan because they are actually doing well this season (I think) and their stadium is so much nicer than the Cubs. Thanks to Courtney and Justin for sacrificing their Sunday to babysit our kids:) we owe you.

Happy 24th of July

Cute little pioneers (Kelty, Ellie, and Bri)
Walker had to be pulled in his blue and pink handcart.

Today we put on a little 24th of July parade for the Apx Salesmen who are our modern day pioneers (They walk all day in the humidity and heat to make America safer and their wives happier:) Thank you to our ancestors for traveling across the United States in search for religous freedom found in Utah... Oh how I miss Utah and the fun celebrations held on the 24th.

Amish Country

This is a picture of a girl bailing hay with a team of 5 horses! She looked so frustrated trying to control the horses by herself and she kept getting stuck in the hay. Man she is so tough.
This is a picture of Walker with his red headed uncle Tay. This lady taking our picture thought that he was Walker's dad.
We just happen to run into an annual Amish event with food, crafts, an auction, and a fundraiser. The Amish people were making food from scratch right in front of us. This is a picture of them squeezing fresh lemons for the lemonade (it was soooo good).
All of the quilts for the auction were hand quilted.
This is a picture of the buggy parking lot.
All of the kids were so cute. Each family would wear matching outfits (dad, mom, kids, and baby all wore matching colors and everything) Driving around we saw alot of barns, buggies, crops, animals, chicken coups and Amish people. It was truly a beautiful place. I mean really! look at this cute waterwheel on the side of this little blue house.

Personality Shines Through

Kelty has a very colorful personality. Whenever i take pictures she pulls the funniest faces. I think it is because i take so many of her and she is just sick of it. Oh well, i had to have a picture of her cute piggy tales because she rarely lets me put them in. The first picture is a classic kelty face when you are trying to get her to do something (she knows exactly how to drive me crazy:)

Go Philly South!! Number One this Week

This week Matt's office did awesome! and so did Matt:) Our office was the number one office installing 255 this week. Matt also beat his best week ever by installing 22 systems. We are pushing for the number 10 spot for total year installs and I think we can do it this week, we are only 20 away.

Little Artist

A couple of weeks ago Erin put together a fingerpainting party with all of the kids. Kelty loved to get all messy with the paints. I think she got more paint on her shirt than on her paper.

Zoey's Number One Fan!!

Kelty's favorite part about Zoey is saying the name "Zoey." She says it over and over again if you even mention her.

Kelty loved Zoey but was frightened of Bert and Ernie.
Walker hates Sesame Place. Not even Elmo could make him happy. This past week we took another trip to Sesame Place with Court and kids, and the two aunt Megans. Last time we went to Sesame Place we bought kelty a stuffed Zoey doll and she absolutly loves it... So when we went to Sesame place again she was so excited to see Zoey in person:)

4TH OF JULY

My Cute Little Red Firecracker

My prize winning cake mmmmmm!
Kelty and her best buddie Ellie

For the 4th of july we started our day out by attending the festivities of Downingtown with Ellie and Cody. We enjoyed a carnival, craft fair, food, and a really fun park (we spent most of the time at the park). Later on it rained while we had a BBQ with the apx office and Kelty jumped in the pool with all of her clothes on. That night we went to the best fireworks show I have ever seen in Delaware on the riverfront. We were right in front of the fireworks on the river and Walker slept through the whole 30 minutes (poor little guy probably had a heart attack in his sleep!) Kelty was in shock through the whole preformance and cried every time we took our fingers out of her ears.
