my angel in curlzz

I'll be honest...right now I am sitting in my workout clothes (actually they are more like pajamas) all sweaty and un-showered and i am uploading these adorable pics that i just took of Kelty like 30 minutes ago. It is so much more fun to get kelty ready for the day than me!! Kelty is like my little dolly that I get to dress up all pretty and cute... lets face it, no matter how hard I try I will never look that cute "all dressed up".

Apx trip to Cancun

Apx took us out to some really nice places to eat (interesting food).
The pic below is our party group...CoCo Bongo here we come!!

Please excuse Matt's frightening facial hair. He told his office there was a prize for the best mustache in Cancun...Matt will find any excuse to look white trash:)

We spotted two sting rays while snorkeling...the one in this picture was pretty big and was really mad a Matt for following him.

We just got home from Cancun, Mexico!!! and it really was such a blast. The first couple of days we actually went to Cozumel and did some snorkeling and Matt did some scuba diving. We rented a scooter for 40 bucks and drove around the coastline of the island and found a really cool place to go snorkeling. After Cozumel we traveled over to our all inclusive hotel in Cancun to meet up with the rest Apx. In Cancun we got to drive some wave runners on a "jungle" tour to a really cool snorkeling spot. We went to Chichenitza (pics below) one day and found a giant sink hole to go cliff jumping into. Oh, and probably the funnest experience that we had (but forgot our camera) was going to a dance club called the CoCo Bongo!! Matt dragged me into going to the club one late night and I was so tired and bitter about going, but once we got inside it was like a huge party with shows, dancers, singers, acrobats, confetti and balloons falling from the ceiling...needless to say, I loved it and we ended up staying till 1:30am!!
The last day we were there we got a really awesome massage at the hotel before we came home... which is a good thing because when we got home I had to take Walker to the doctor, and we found out he has bronchitis and ear infections in both ears. Back to reality.

Chichen Itza

We visited some ancient ruins called Chichenitza while we were in Mexico. Just 2 years ago you could walk up and see inside this huge pyramid, but now you can't because they made it one of the seven wonders of the world. It was so amazing to be there and learn all about the different speculations that people have about the ruins. We had an LDS tour guide give us the inside scoop about what Mormons believe about the ruins.

These columns represented the 2000 stripling warriors.

Rose Parade

Check out the detail on these Floats!! They were so amazing.

The floats had to be made with everything all natural...flowers, potatoes, rice paper, oranges, etc...

Matt's cute sisters saved us an excellent spot to see the parade.
Every New years Matt begs me to go to the Rose Parade in Pasadena, so i finally gave in. It was so cool to see up close. I tried to get some good pics that show all the detail in the floats. Everybody in the parade thought Kelty was so cute in her pjs and sunglasses.

San Francisco

It is our tradition to visit San Francisco over Christmas. It was such a nice day that we got to play on the little beach down by the Pier.

Disneyland New years Eve!

After we visited Matt's parents in Modesto we drove 5 hours to LA for Disneyland and the Rose parade. What we didn't know was that New Year's Eve is the busiest day of the entire year for Disneyland... So, i wouldn't recommend visiting disneyland on the busiest day of the year. We waited 40 minutes for a little Dumbo ride and like 2 hours for the finding Nemo ride. Kelty was so tired and cranky by the time we went to Toon Town that she started crying because she wanted to see Mickey and Minnie. As she proceeded to cry, out popped Minnie mouse! Kelty ran and gave her a good long hug (she had the biggest smile on her face)... it made Disneyland all worth it:)

Mini Ramp

We visited some friends (the Walkers) in Huntington Beach over the holiday break. They have a mini skate ramp in their backyard and now apparently we will soon have one in our backyard too.
